LaVey photographed in his horned cowl and black ritual attire, making the horned-hand gesture. Probably photographed during the Church of Satan’s first major period of media exposure in San Francisco. Exact photographer and date currently unconfirmed. A possible connection to the September 1968 John Hendricks Black House photographic session warrants further investigation..
